The Wall Street Journal is also reporting that the arrest was made in cooperation with the Swedish government.
According to the article at the Wall Street Journal Cambodia's deputy national police commissioner, Sok Phal said "we arrested him in cooperation with the Swedish government.".
Still no word from the Swedish government on the issue and the wording is vague enough that it's hard to say if this means he was arrested because the Swedish government asked the Cambodian government to arrest him or if it is merely as stated originally, that he was arrested for another reason and his name was on a list of international fugitives.
